(first of all, this has nothing to do with the person that reblogged this in my dash; I am not talking to them, just about the statement)
Okay, this really hurts. I consider myself to be a part of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom, and I know that some people in it can be very extreme. But to say that the Homestuck fandom does nothing more than “spit in a bucket” really upsets me. There are extremists everywhere—fandoms included. There are good, reasonable people in them, and then there are the “crazy fans.” It’s everywhere, trust me. I’ve seen people in the MLP community viciously (verbally) attack other innocent people. I’ve seen the same in the HS fanbase.
I’m not saying that this statement is wrong and that whoever wrote it should burn in Hell. No! It’s true! But, come on. Please, just think about what you want to say.
If this was meant to be a joke, that’s fine. But it’s crossed a line, and it’s unfair to the rest of the community that actually just enjoys the show.
People, people, please. Let’s just have a little reason, please.
